UAE denies arms supply to Sudan.

The UAE has denied allegations made by a media outlet that it was supplying arms and ammunition to warring parties in the Sudan conflict. Afra Al Hameli, the UAE's Foreign Ministry Strategic Communications Director, said that the UAE has not provided any weapons or ammunition to any of the parties involved since the conflict began, and emphasized the country’s neutrality in Sudan conflict, aiming to end it through de-escalation, ceasefire and diplomatic dialogue while respecting Sudan's sovereignty. The UAE continues to support Sudan's political efforts to achieve national consensus and monitors humanitarian situations and its impact on neighboring countries. The UAE also seeks to provide assistance to relieve human suffering, and has operated a sea and air bridge to transport medical, food and relief supplies. It has established a medical facility caring for 4,147 patients in Chad, and a coordination office for UAE foreign aid in Amdjarass. JAC/Expat Media
