The UAE State Security Apparatus has announced the dismantling of a terrorist network linked to Hezbollah and Iran, with several members arrested. According to the agency, the group operated within the UAE under a fake commercial cover and sought to infiltrate the national economy while carrying out external schemes that could threaten financial stability. Authorities said the network followed a planned strategy coordinated with external parties, in violation of economic and legal regulations. The activities included money laundering and financing terrorism. The State Security Apparatus said such actions posed a direct threat to national security and economic integrity. Officials stressed that any attempt to exploit the country’s economy or institutions for terrorist or subversive purposes will be dealt with firmly.
