The UAE has expanded its visa-on-arrival program for Indian nationals, now allowing those with valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from six additional countries to obtain visas upon arrival at all UAE entry points. Indian passport holders with documents from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada will now be eligible for visa-on-arrival privileges. Previously, this policy applied only to travelers with documentation from the United States, European Union member states, and the United Kingdom. The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP) announced that this move aims to strengthen UAE-India ties and boost tourism. Officials emphasized that to qualify, travelers must hold a passport valid for at least six months and pay the applicable visa fees upon arrival. Authorities see this expansion as a step toward attracting skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors, further solidifying the UAE’s status as a global business hub. ICA/Expat Media
