UAE expat gets flood of calls after his number is wrongly displayed on bus

DUBAI – A Palestinian businessman said his mobile number that was wrongly displayed in a company bus in Abu Dhabi has drawn a flood of phone calls, including one from a very angry motorist. Adham Kaddoura, owner of accounting company Bookwork, now owns the mobile number previously owned by Seidco General Contracting Company. Kaddoura said he gets up to 10 phone calls per day for Seidco, and up to 60 phone calls per week for the contracting company. The 31-year-old Palestinian said an incident last week was the final straw after he received an angry phone call from a female motorist who complained about the way Seidco’s bus was being driven. The businessman said the situation has put him in limbo as he can’t stop answering his phone calls in hopes that it might be queries for his business. Kaddoura said he does not want to change his mobile number immediately as he has used it in all his marketing materials. “I don’t know how much business I am losing, but it is affecting me for sure,” The National quoted him as saying. According to the newspaper, Seidco was also contacted for comment. Kaddoura said he has raised the issue with Etisalat. GAD/Expat 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
