UAE expected to experience a hot day with mercury reaching up to 49ºC

According to the National Centre of Meteorology, the temperature in the UAE will be as high as 49ºC today. "The day will be hot and occasionally sunny to partly overcast," the center stated. Eastward clouds will start to emerge and may become convective by the afternoon. The temperature in Abu Dhabi is expected to reach 43 °C while Dubai will reach up to 42 °C. There will be light to moderate breezes that occasionally get fresher and blow dust. The Oman Sea and the Arabian Gulf will see mild sea conditions. BKM/ Expat Media
