Expect some haze and rain in parts of UAE as the temperature spikes to 50 degrees

  DUBAI – Although the weather on Saturday (July 8) is going to be very hot in general with the temperature expected to hit a maximum 50 degrees Celcius, there will be a chance of rainfall in parts of the UAE, according to the national weather bureau. The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said rain clouds over eastern and southern areas will be accompanied with some rainfall "of different intensities by afternoon". On Saturday morning, winds kicked up dust and sand, causing haze and reducing visibiliy in parts of Dubai and other areas. The NCMS said that the temperature will hit a maximum of 50 degrees Celcius in internal areas and 47 degrees in coastal areas. Humidity levels will be at 85 percent in coastal areas and 70 percent in internal areas. On Sunday, the weather will be "very hot in general and hazy at times", with more chance of rainfall in eastern and southern areas, according to NCMS.
