The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced the retail fuel prices for March 2025, reflecting slight reductions across all petrol and diesel categories. The updated prices, which take effect on March 1, were revealed on Friday (February 28), following the committee’s monthly review of global oil prices. Motorists across the country will see a minor decrease in fuel costs, with Super 98 petrol priced at Dh2.73 per litre, down from Dh2.74 in February. Special 95 petrol will cost Dh2.61 per litre, a slight drop from Dh2.63 in the previous month. Meanwhile, E-Plus 91 petrol is set at Dh2.54 per litre, compared to Dh2.55 per litre in February. Diesel prices have also decreased, with the new rate set at Dh2.77 per litre, down from Dh2.82 per litre in February. The UAE follows a deregulated fuel pricing system, with monthly price adjustments based on global crude oil trends. This system, implemented in August 2015, aims to align domestic fuel prices with international benchmarks while promoting fuel efficiency and sustainability.
