UAE: Government fees can now be paid using mobile payment apps, bank transfers, credit cards

Customers can now pay for government services using any of the several payment methods allowed in the UAE, according to a statement from the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday. The change was made to give customers easier, more flexible, and more effective payment options in response to their requests and suggestions. The federal government agencies will gradually stop using the eDirham platform as a payment option for their service fees over the course of the following three months, according to the Ministry of Finance.
