The UAE government has introduced a standardized fine of Dh50 a day for overstaying visa holders, replacing the previous Dh100 daily overstay fine. The new policy aims to enhance visa rule compliance and encorage timely renewals. Expatriates and tourists are encouraged to use the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship website and visiting the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai for visa-related processes. Applicants may submit entry permit and visa requests through their official website, smart application, Dubai Now app, and authorized printing offices. KKL/Expat Media
