Four Indian expat co-workers have won Dh50,000 in Dream Island’s scratch card game as they were waiting for their friend to arrive at the Abu Dhabi International Airport. Gopi Tuti, Thirupati Bhimaraju, Thirupathi Vangapelli and Ramesh Annadurai were pleasantly surprised when their visit to Dream Island’s Abu Dhabi Airport Arrival store became more than just a way to pass the time. The group had bought a Dream Island Lucky 7 scratch card for Dh50 on May 30 while waiting for their friend to arrive at the airport. Within seconds, they uncovered their Dh50,000 cash prize. The group, who work in construction, said they will be splitting the prize among them and send their winnings to their families. Tuti, who has been living in the UAE for 15 years, said this was the group's first time to play the scratch card game. He is happy to share the winning moment” with his friends. This latest win is Dream Island’s biggest scratch card giveaway this month. Since the beginning of May, Dream Island have had three winners take home Dh10,000 each, and one winning Dh5,000. The jackpot prize of Dh1 million is still up for grabs. ICA/Expat Media
