UAE internet speed, quality ranks third in the world
The Internet in the UAE is 54% better than the global average, placing it third in the world. According to a recent report, the UAE ranks 44th in the world regarding digital well-being. Over 7.2 billion people were analyzed by the Digital Quality of Life Index (DQL) to determine where each region stands regarding digital characteristics like internet speed, quality, affordability, and security. The quality of the internet is measured by its speed, stability, and potential for expansion. With a worldwide average of 247.7 Mbps/s, the UAE has the fastest mobile Internet speed compared to any other country. DQL found that mobile and fixed broadband speeds in the UAE had increased by 29% and 28% over the past year.
