Jumbo Electronics in the UAE is offering free repair of gadgets and appliances damaged during last week’s torrential rain. Speaking to Expat Media, a customer service representative confirmed that the free repair service applies even if the appliance or gadget was not brought from a Jumbo Electronics store. It is available until April 30. The customer service representative clarified that only the repair and inspection are free, but that should parts need to be replaced, then the customer will need to shoulder the cost. Parts will be free if the item is still under warranty. Residents who want to avail of the offer must call the Jumbo Electronics hotline via 600-532395 to provide details of the damaged gadget or appliance.
