Managing domestic worker services in the UAE just got easier. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has launched a suite of Domestic Worker Services on the Work Bundle platform, giving citizens and residents a faster, unified way to handle visas, medical exams, and Emirates ID applications — all online. The move, developed in collaboration with several federal entities, including the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP), Emirates Health Services, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), and the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, is part of the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, which aims to eliminate unnecessary administrative steps and boost efficiency across government services. Through the Work in UAE platform (workinuae.ae), customers can issue, renew, or cancel domestic worker residency visas, arrange medical tests, receive results, and complete electronic employment contracts — all through a single, integrated form. Khalil Ibrahim Khoori, Undersecretary of Labour Market and Emiratisation Operations at MoHRE, said the launch builds on the Work Bundle’s earlier success in simplifying employment procedures. “This initiative satisfies the requirements of the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It confirms that the UAE is advancing confidently toward its goal of being a world leader in providing integrated government services,” Khoori said. Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director-General of ICP, said the initiative represents “a pioneering model for integration and cooperation among government entities.” “Cutting down the number of channels and steps needed to complete a service helps improve quality of life, save time, and ensure the well-being and happiness of the community,” he said. The upgraded platform also features unified payment systems and standardised forms, allowing users to input their information just once and avoid physical visits to multiple offices. Supported by advanced data integration through the Government Services Bus and UAE PASS, the system aims to provide seamless, secure, and proactive services to customers.
