A new UAE initiative will provide free learning sessions for public school students to improve their reading skills and instill a love for reading. As part of its ongoing innovation in developing future educational leaders, the Emirates College for Advanced Education launched the "iRead" initiative. The "iRead" initiative targets students and teachers from all ESE schools. It is free to join, and its sessions will be held every Friday from 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. at Emirates College for Advanced Education's Library and Learning Supporting Hub. ESE Emirates Schools Establishment will play a key role in coordinating visits to ECAE's Library and Learning Support Hub for "iRead" activities by schools and other entities. Kindergarten, Cycle 1, Cycle 2, and Cycle 3 students are the focus of this initiative. The "iRead" initiative will provide a place for students and teachers to read and teach them about what lies beyond the art of reading. Teachers will improve their skills in making reading a passion for children through interactive activities. "It is an initiative to encourage our children to read and gain knowledge. Utilizing the power of knowledge to proudly and professionally overcome any challenge for their beloved country, the UAE!" said Dr. May Al Taee, Vice Chancellor of Emirates College for Advanced Education. Pediatricians will also participate in this initiative to share their knowledge of reading. BKM/ Expat Media
