Mirza Omair Baig with his token cheque for Dh100,000. THE UAE LOTTERY

The UAE Lottery, the nation’s only regulated lottery, revealed its first major scratch card winner on Tuesday (December 17). Mirza Omair Baig claimed Dh100,000 with a Golden 7 Scratch Card, an event that marked a significant milestone for the newly launched lottery. The UAE Lottery, operated by The Game LLC, offers a variety of scratch cards with prizes ranging from Dh50,000 to Dh1 million. Tickets are priced affordably, starting at just Dh5, making them accessible to a wide audience. While Baig’s win stands out, thousands of others have also cashed in smaller prizes during the lottery’s debut week. The lottery’s first live draw on December 14 saw over 28,000 participants win Dh100 each, although no one matched the grand prize of Dh100 million. The UAE Lottery continues to attract players with its unique offers, including guaranteed Dh100,000 prizes for seven Lucky Chance IDs in every draw. Participation is limited to residents and visitors physically present in the UAE, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Players must be at least 18 years old, and any attempts to bypass location restrictions through VPNs or similar methods are strictly prohibited.
