The criminal court in Dubai convicted a 29-year-old Arab man who attempted to enter Germany through Dubai International Airport with a fake visa to one month in jail and deportation. The man was apprehended by an officer and confessed to paying someone in his own country 3,000 euros to get the fake visa. The accused refuted the allegations during the public prosecution's investigations, saying that a different individual in his home country had given him the visa and asked for his passport to make the necessary adjustment. The accused claims he was unaware the visa was fake until he was apprehended trying to enter Belgium with it. The court ruled that the accused be imprisoned for one month and deported from the country once he has completed his sentence. BKM/ Expat Media
