After a six-year-old Emirati boy was hit by a car, his father asked an insurance company and an Asian driver to pay him Dh200,000 in compensation for the damages. The Public Prosecution said the driver did not pay attention to the road or the traffic signs. The accused also failed to report the incident within the "legal time frame." The child was run over, and the case file says that he cried and got scared. He also broke a couple of bones in his right foot and two bones in his right leg. The ruling referred to the cost that the plaintiff would have to include medical treatments and physiotherapy. The victim also couldn't attend his classes due to his injuries. BKM/ Expat Media
