A man was ordered to compensate a woman Dh300,000 after he conned her out of Dh250,000 in a judgment from the Al Ain Court of First Instance. The accuser and complainant were introduced via Instagram, according to the lawsuit. She reported that he made a lot of business claims and identified himself as an Emirati. Then, for a donation of Dh50,000, he invited her to take part in those. He received the funds from the woman after she had borrowed them. At that point, she realized that she had been the victim of deception and that the accuser was not an Emirati. Consequently, she reported him to the police. The offender will be required to give her the amount that was fraudulently obtained from her as well as Dh50,000 as compensation for her losses, according to the court's ruling, which followed his conviction.
