Mohamed Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, met with Reza Ameri, Ambassador of Iran, to the UAE. The UAE Minister discussed opportunities to strengthen regional economic stability and the possibility for cooperation in the financial sector during the meeting held at the Ministry of Finance’s Dubai office. Ameri was appointed to serve as Iran's ambassador to the UAE in April, which hadn't been filled since 2016. He had previously held the position of director general in the Iranian Foreign Ministry and served in Algeria, Sudan, and Eritrea as a diplomat. MFD/Expat Media
