If you forgot to renew your UAE Involuntary Loss of Employment (ILOE) insurance, you could face a fine of up to Dh400 — and risk losing your unemployment benefit eligibility. But don’t panic. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has made it easy to check and pay fines online using its ILOE Quick Pay portal. Here’s how to do it. Step 1: Visit the Quick Pay website Go to eservices.mohre.gov.ae/TasheelWeb/Home/ILOEQuickPay. Step 2: Enter your details Choose one of the following: • Emirates ID number (EIDA) • Unified Number (UID) • Labour card number • Personal code number (found on your labour card) Then click Search. Step 3: Check and pay your fines If you have a fine, the system will show the amount and the issue date. You can pay instantly using a credit or debit card — or opt for instalments. Payments are processed within one working day. Why renewal matters If you delay renewal for more than three months, your ILOE subscription will be cancelled, and you’ll lose eligibility for unemployment benefits. You’ll need to reapply and maintain a 12-month continuous subscription to qualify again. Keeping your ILOE up to date ensures peace of mind — and financial protection if you ever lose your job.
