The UAE’s Most Noble Number auction in Dubai saw the sale of mobile number 058444444 for a record-breaking Dh1.7 million, making it the most expensive mobile number auctioned in the UAE this year. Held in collaboration with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Etisalat by e&, Du, and Emirates Auction, the event featured 20 premium mobile numbers—10 from Etisalat and 10 from Du. The auction raised a total of Dh83.7 million, with the following breakdown: • Dh75.9 million from RTA vehicle plates • Dh4.73 million from Etisalat mobile numbers • Dh3.04 million from Du mobile numbers Proceeds from the event will go towards the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which aims to establish an endowment fund for medical assistance to the underprivileged. The auction is part of a broader initiative that includes an online charity auction by Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre. This ongoing auction features 444 exclusive vehicle and motorcycle plate numbers and will run until March 16 and 17, allowing residents to bid via the Emirates Auction app. ICA/Expat Media
