Employees in the UAE can now report labour complaints to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) via a video call. MOHRE announced the new service on Wednesday (June 26), saying it is available on MOHRE’s app and can also be used to get support on other MOHRE services. Hussain Al Alili, Director of Customer Relations Department at MOHRE, said the new service will provide customers with “support, assistance and prompt response” on labour market rules. To use the new video call service on MOHRE’s app, tap “Support” button at the bottom to be directed to a list of customer services. Click on “Video Call”. According to MOHRE, the video call service is available for both employees and companies from 7:30am to 3pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 7:30am to 12pm on Friday. Customers can contact the call center hotline 600590000 at any time or send a message via WhatsApp on the same number for any service inquiry. ICA/Expat Media
