UAE mural featuring Sheikh Zayed wins new Guinness World Record
DUBAI – A giant mural featuring UAE founding father Sheikh Zayed has bagged a new Guinness World Record as the world’s largest mural mental mapping. A mental map is a personal visualization of information. The artwork, developed by the Ministry of Interior’s Innovation Center, shows Sheikh Zayed’s journey, achievements, leadership and the role he played in the world. The Guinness World Record committee delivered the certificate to Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili on Tuesday at the Police Academy Square. “The metal mapping team has been working in close coordination with several entities and partner institutions to prepare the mental map since the idea came to life two years ago," according to the Ministry of Interior.
