UAE named as one of the safest countries in the world

As one of the safest nations in the world with a "very low" level of terrorist activity, the UAE kept first place in the Global Terrorism Index. UAE is also regarded as one of the safest nations among several other active nations in combating terrorist and extremist activities. For the fourth consecutive year, the nation kept its ranking. This is based on the findings published by the Institute for Economics and International Peace, which created the index and released its results every year. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation uses the Global Terrorism Index as one of the indicators it monitors and relies on and supports its data through the "Global Peace and Stability" initiative adopted by the Ministry. The Global Terrorism Index provides a comprehensive summary of global trends and patterns affecting terrorism over the past two decades based on analyzing various social and economic conditions and influencing geopolitical factors.
