UAE: NCEMA says adverse weather condition is over
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) and the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) declared the end of the bad weather condition. The NCM made it clear that there is still a possibility of localized cumulus clouds forming over some eastern and southern regions, with a likelihood of rain in the ensuing days. NCEMA stated that all relevant authorities had responded to it in a proactive and highly flexible manner. The agency also assured that it is still fully prepared to respond to all developments that may arise and to assess its severity and study its potential risks. The Ministry of Interior (MOI) collaborated with the Police Directorates of various Emirates to create proactive strategies and actions to guarantee societal safety, protect lives and property, and reduce the effects of the meteorological situation.
