UAE: New website launched for residents claiming insurance with flood-damaged vehicles

Just one week after the UAE experienced catastrophic floods, the Ministry of Interior launched a website where vehicle owners in Fujairah may obtain an incident report for their damaged vehicles. The incident report can be used to file insurance claims for those whose vehicles were totaled or damaged beyond repair due to the downpour and flooding. On the website, which is available in both English and Arabic, vehicle owners must upload a photo of their damaged vehicles as well as a copy of their registration card. The service has a Dh20 cost.
