Motorists in the UAE can expect a slight relief at petrol pumps this December as the government announced new petrol and diesel prices. The UAE Fuel Price Committee announced on Saturday (November 30) the new fuel rates for December. The changes will take effect on Sunday (December 1), offering a modest reprieve for petrol users but a minor increase for diesel consumers. The new rates are as follows: Super 98: Dh2.61 per litre (down from Dh2.74 in November) Special 95: Dh2.50 per litre (down from Dh2.54 in November) E-Plus: Dh2.43 per litre (down from Dh2.55 in November) Diesel: Dh2.68 per litre (up from Dh2.67 in November) The UAE adjusts fuel prices monthly based on global oil market trends, a move aimed at keeping rates transparent and aligned with international benchmarks.
