Petrol prices in the UAE may rise for November when the Fuel Price Committee will announce the revised rates for the month. In October, fuel prices dropped for the second month in a row, with Super 98 at Dh2.66, Special 95 at Dh2.54, and E-Plus 91 at Dh2.47 per litre. The average Brent price in October was about $75.5 per barrel, up from $73 in September. It ranged from as low as $71 to nearly $81 per barrel, largely influenced by geopolitical tensions in Middle East as Israel targeted Iran's oil facilities. Though, prices dropped by over six percent after Israel’s limited strikes on Iran, as both sides aimed to avoid a full-scale war.
