The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced that petrol and diesel prices for January 2025 will remain the same as those in December. In its announcement on Tuesday (December 31), the committee confirmed that the rates for all fuel categories, including Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus 91, and diesel, will remain unchanged. The new rates will take effect from January 1, 2025. Motorists will continue to pay Dh2.61 per litre for Super 98 petrol, Dh2.50 per litre for Special 95 petrol, Dh2.43 per litre for E-Plus 91 petrol, and Dh2.68 per litre for diesel. The decision ensures consistency in fuel costs for both residents and businesses as they plan for the month ahead. The move comes as part of the committee's regular monthly reviews, which align local fuel prices with global market trends while ensuring affordability for consumers. Fuel prices in the UAE are adjusted monthly and are influenced by fluctuations in international oil prices. The UAE remains committed to maintaining transparency in pricing while balancing economic stability.
