All employees in mosques across the UAE will get a monthly allowance equivalent to 50 percent of their basic salary, the UAE President ordered.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s decree will benefit all imams and muezzins at state level affiliated with the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

The monthly allowance would be automatically disbursed with their monthly salary, said Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Derai, Chairman of the authority. ICA/Expat Media
