UAE President postpones visit to Pakistan
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has postponed a second visit to Pakistan on Monday (January 30). According to the media office, the official visit was postponed due to weather conditions. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif were due to discuss areas of mutual cooperation between the UAE and Pakistan. A phone call was held between Sheikh Mohamed and Sharif, during which they reviewed UAE-Pakistan relations and agreed to schedule another visit as soon as possible. On January 25, Sheikh Mohamed had visited Pakistan's city of Rahim Yar Khan. He was received by Sharif and a number of ministers and senior officials.
