The UAE Public Prosecutor's Office (UAEPP) has ordered the arrest of a private sector company executive for falsely recruiting Emiratis into the company, forging electronic documents, and issuing false employment contracts. The defendant bypassed the company's Emiratization rates to qualify for benefits and financial aid from programs awarded to citizens working in the private sector, such as the 'Nafis' program, the UAE PP said. The crime is considered a fraud to illegally seize state funds and a violation of labor laws and controls by the Emirates Talent Competitiveness Council, the UAE PP added. The Attorney General had received a report on the incident from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, so he ordered an urgent investigation. The information transmitted was verified during the investigation, and the company manager was involved in illegally hiring over 40 civilians with the help of some of his employees. The Attorney General called on the heads of private sector companies to assume their responsibilities and play the desired role in developing Emirati managers and their skills to contribute to economic growth for the benefit of them and the general of the Emirates United Arabs.
