Rain and cloudy skies are expected to continue in parts of the UAE from Thursday (October 24) to Saturday (October 26), according to the latest forecast by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Residents are advised to prepare for potential rainfall and cooler temperatures as the weather conditions shift. On Thursday and Friday, a combination of a moist air mass from the Arabian Sea and a weak low-pressure system will lead to scattered rain, particularly in the east and west, with heavy rainfall possible in some areas, according to the weather bureau. The NCM also predicts strong winds in some areas, which may cause blowing dust and reduced visibility. Winds are expected to shift from southeasterly to northwesterly, reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h. The weather is expected to remain unsettled into the weekend, with convective cloud formation continuing through Saturday, and cooler temperatures accompanying the rainy weather.
