The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts chances of more rain in the UAE in the coming days. The weather bureau said this is the result of the Intertropical Convergence Zone affecting the region during this period and moving towards the south of the country. According to the NCM, the UAE will experience rising temperatures during the daytime, with a chance of rain in the afternoon. From Wednesday (August 9) until Saturday, there will be a chance of “rainfall with different intensities and may be associated with lightning and thunder at times over scattered areas of the country, especially eastward, southward and extending towards some internal areas and Al Dhafrah region.” The weather bureau also forecasts strong winds at times, blowing dust and sand that will reduce visibility.
