3-day weekend for some employees during Ramadan

The official Ramadan working hours for the Umm Al Quwain government's employees were announced on Tuesday (March 21). All local government offices in the emirate will have a three-day weekend during Ramadan, with staff off from Friday to Sunday, according to a circular. The circular further stated that the hours of operation would be Monday to Thursday, 9am to 2pm. His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain issued the directives that served as the foundation for the decision. KD/Expat Media
