Dh9.65 million worth of bonuses for taxi plates

Sharjah taxi number plate owners will shortly receive their yearly bonuses. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of the emirate declared on Tuesday (April 18) that it would begin giving out the incentives in 2022. The authorities also stated that Dh9.654 million of bonuses is eligible for disbursement. Authorities in various emirates set aside millions of dollars each year during the holy month of Ramadan for owners of taxi number plates. This yearly program aims to aid families in need and fixed-income earners while increasing happiness among the populace ahead of the Eid Al Fitr celebrations. KD/Expat Media
