Fasting hours in the UAE will gradually lengthen throughout Ramadan, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). At the start of the month, fasting will last about 12 hours and 46 minutes, based on local time in Abu Dhabi. By the end of Ramadan, it will extend to approximately 13 hours and 25 minutes. This year's Ramadan is expected to last 29 days, depending on the official moon sighting confirmation.Weather during Ramadan
The NCM said generally moderate weather is expected across most parts of the country. Daytime conditions in the first half of Ramadan are forecast to be moderately warm, with a slight rise in temperatures in the second half of the month. Night-time weather will be moderate to pleasant, turning cool during late-night and dawn hours, especially in inland and mountainous areas. Average maximum temperatures are expected to range between 26°C and 32°C. Some inland areas could see afternoon temperatures reaching 40°C. Minimum temperatures will range between 18°C and 21°C, but may drop close to or below zero in certain mountainous and inland areas during early mornings. Humidity levels are expected to rise at night and in the early morning, creating conditions for fog or mist in some areas.
