The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reaffirmed that the Iranian community remains a valued and respected part of the country’s diverse society. In a statement, the ministry said the UAE continues to be home to more than 200 nationalities, reflecting its long-standing commitment to coexistence, tolerance and openness. The clarification follows the circulation of inaccurate media reports regarding the residency status of Iranian nationals in the country. According to the ministry, the UAE’s institutional approach is based on established procedures that ensure the safety and well-being of all residents. It stressed that these frameworks are applied consistently and are designed to protect the rights of everyone living in the country. The ministry also reiterated the UAE’s commitment to maintaining a safe and stable environment under the rule of law. Officials said the country will continue to uphold its values of tolerance and coexistence while ensuring that all residents are treated fairly and protected.
