UAE records an increased demand for desert safari adventures as the winter season begins. Summer has officially ended in the UAE, and the country is now enjoying a pleasant transition from autumn to the best season of the year - winter. As the temperature decreases, the cooler conditions are ideal for exploring the picturesque deserts of the Emirates. Tourism sector experts report a significant demand for outdoor activities in the UAE, with desert safari topping the list. In comparison to August, tourist operators have seen an almost 300 percent rise in daily bookings. Tito Mathachan, director of sales at Rayna Tours, said the demand is increasing every day for outdoor activities, especially desert safari. "In the summer months, we were receiving around 200 guests. However, the demand for desert safari is increasing, and we are taking nearly 500-600 guests to the desert daily," said Mathachan. Desert adventure is an authentic Arabian experience that lasts six hours and includes thirty minutes to one hour of dune bashing. It is a must-do activity during a trip to Dubai. Rayna Trips organizes desert tours as an excellent jumping-off point for an intense dune bashing session in a 4X4 vehicle. The company provides a variety of packages starting at Dh210 per person for a 4-6 hour trip, with many other options available at an additional cost, such as quad riding, dinner in the desert, dune buggy, and more. The guests are brought to a desert near Al Awir, around 30 kilometers from Dubai's city center. Desert safari operators in Dubai provide a variety of alternatives, including morning and nighttime safaris. The morning desert safari is created for travelers who want to see the spectacular desert sunrise views. On the other hand, evenings are planned to be more traditional, with belly dance, a Tanura show, and a spectacular BBQ supper with vegetarian and non-vegetarian alternatives. BKM/ Expat Media
