UAE residents who enjoyed a long weekend for Prophet Muhammad’s birthday (PBUH) are now wondering when the next extended break will be. The country’s next official public holiday will be to mark the UAE’s 54th National Day, also known as Eid Al Etihad, on December 2 and 3. The dates fall on a Tuesday and Wednesday. Meanwhile, Commemoration Day is typically observed on December 1, which is a Monday this year. This means residents could potentially enjoy a four-day weekend from Sunday, the official weekend. The December holidays will mark the final long weekend of 2025, giving residents one last chance to enjoy an extended break before the New Year holidays. ICA/Expat Media
