With lots of concerts happening in Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) have warned UAE residents about fake tickets being sold on social media. According to the authority, the fake concert tickets are being sold at low prices to lure unsuspecting customers. The scammers would later delete their page once they have reached their sales target, according to ADJD. The ADJD issued guidelines for UAE residents to avoid scams, which it said have gained traction in recent months. The authority advised residents to be wary of unrealistic offers, such as low prices, and to never provide their personal or financial information to unknown sellers on social media. It also advised residents to only buy concert or event tickets from official or authorized channesl, such as the event organiser’s website or licensed ticket agencies. The ADJD said that residents can report scammers through the hotline 8002626. ICA/Expat Media ALSO READ Westlife returning to Abu Dhabi for concert Maroon 5 to perform in exclusive Dubai concert
