UAE: Road speed limit now at 60 mph due to fog, poor visibility
The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) urged drivers to strictly abide by traffic regulations to ensure road safety amid poor visibility caused by fog formations. Horizontal visibility is expected to worsen and may drop even more over some coastal and internal regions, particularly to the west, until 8.30 am on Monday, as advised by NCM. The Abu Dhabi Police have reminded drivers about the change of speed limits due to the weather. The speed limit has been lowered from 80 to 60 miles per hour on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed International Road between Abu Dhabi and Al Ghwaifat.
