Next week, several UAE schools will be on mid-term break for a week. Some will be closed for five days, while others will be closed for only two days, from October 19 to 21. Several Indian schools will also observe an extended holiday to commemorate Diwali, which falls on October 24. Many campuses have already conducted their internal and periodic exams in September and early October as they race against a packed calendar before the holidays. Others have been preoccupied with campus celebrations. Parents are also being recruited for various activities at some schools. BKM/ Expat Media
