The Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that all schools and universities in the UAE will switch to distance learning from Monday (March 2) through Wednesday (March 4). The move is part of precautionary measures as the UAE continues to respond to Iranian-launched missiles and drones targeting the country since February 28. The shift to online classes applies to students, teachers and administrative staff in both public and private institutions nationwide. Authorities said the situation will be assessed throughout the week and may lead to an extension if required.
