Authorities in the UAE have closed a training center operating without a license and offering unapproved programs, with its managers referred to Public Prosecution. According to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR), inspectors uncovered multiple violations, including unlicensed educational programs and unsafe practices. According to MoHESR, the centre had been enrolling students without the required approvals, offering unaccredited programs, and even operating an unlicensed nursery. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation also identified additional breaches related to public safety and the employment of unlicensed workers. Following inspections, MoHESR coordinated with several authorities — including the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Ministry of Education, and the emirate’s Department of Economic Development — to shut down the centre and refer its managers and administrators to the Public Prosecution. The centre has been fined and will remain closed until all necessary licences are obtained. MoHESR is also working with the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) to block the centre’s website and online pages used to promote its unlicensed programs. The ministry stressed its commitment to upholding quality education standards and warned that institutions operating without approval will face strict penalties.
