The Dubai Police SWAT teams clinched the top two spots in the highly competitive UAE Swat Challenge 2024.

Dubai Police Team B took first place and a cash prize of $80,000 (Dh293,000), while Dubai Police Team A took second place and a cash prize of $40,000 (Dh146,800). The total prize money given away at the competition was Dh1 million ($272,000).

A total of 87 Elite SWAT teams from 48 countries gathered in Dubai to compete in the annual event that was held across five days of intense competition from February 3 to 7 at the Dubai Police’s SWAT Training Facility in Al Ruwayyah. The Abu Dhabi Police women's team made their debut in this year's competition. The event was graced by Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council.

This year’s challenge showcased world-class tactical teams competing in five main challenges: The Tactical Competition, Assault Challenge, Officer Rescue, High Tower Challenge, and Obstacle Course. Here are the results:
