UAE temperature expected to hit 49C

  DUBAI - Get ready with your fan and cooling system as temperature in eastern and southern parts of the UAE is expected to shoot up as high as 49 degrees Celsius. The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has forecasted a hot and humid weather until Saturday (July 2). Internal areas will experience temperature as high as 49 degrees Celsius while those that are along the coast will experience 45 degrees Celsius, with the eastern and southern areas witnessing some towering clouds and chance for some rainfall during the afternoon. The weather agency said that light to moderate winds will cause some dust and sand to blow over exposed areas while the relative humidity is likely to increase during night to reach highs of 95 percent across the coastal areas and 90 percent in the internal areas. On Sunday morning, there will be some fog formation over western areas. The sea is expected to get rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. CLM/Expat Media
