Temperatures in the UAE approached close to 50° Celsius, reaching a scorching 48° Celsius on Tuesday (June 13) as the summer season began. According to the National Centre of Meteorology, maximum temperatures are expected to stay above 45° Celsius, particularly in coastal areas, internal areas and islands.
