Ras Al Khaimah Police arrested three men in their twenties on Wednesday (May 4) evening after seeing a viral video of the individuals performing dangerous car stunts and damaging public property. Major-General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that the police force tasked a specialized team of officers to conduct an extensive search and arrest of the violators. The three individuals were quickly apprehended and reported to the appropriate authorities for prosecution. Major-General Al Nuaimi warned that anyone who engages in such behavior could incur a Dh2,000 fine, 23 black points on their license, and confiscation of the vehicle for 60 days as per Article No. 1. He emphasized the importance of safe driving and advised drivers to consider their safety and the safety of others on the road. Major-General Al Nuaimi also urged residents to report traffic offenses by calling the operations room at 999 or 901.
