Citizens of 87 countries can now enter the UAE without prior visa after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs updated the UAE visa exemption list. The Helenic Republic is the latest addition to the list. The full list can be viewed here. Upon arrival in the UAE, qualified travelers will be issued an entry visa valid for 30 days, which can be extended for 10 days. Citizens of GCC countries also do not need a visa to enter the UAE, and will only need to present their passport or national ID card. This applies to nationals from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Indians who have a visit visa or green card issued by the US or a residence visa issued by the UK or EU countries can also get an entry visa on arrival. The visa is valid for 14 days and can be extended for 14 days. Passports and the US- or EU-issued visit visa, green card or residence visa must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival. ICA/Expat Media
